Shane Plath

Shane is a passionate horticulturalist with 20 years of organic farming experience. Together with his family, he runs South Africa’s largest organic banana farm—over 1,800 hectares employing more than 2,000 workers.rnrnIn 2015, the farm faced rising costs, heat stress, pests, disease, and declining yields despite long-standing EU organic certification. After studying Dr. Elaine’s™ work and online courses, Shane shifted to a biological approach, producing and applying large volumes of BioComplete™ Compost and Compost Tea.
