Born and raised in the islands since the early 1970ʻs, Sedrika had observed the turn of plantation land change from productive commodity to barren fields due to soil degradation and mismanagement. She desired to become a part of the solution to regenerate the health of the soil and find ways to increase the island\’s access to its own food sources. After certifying as a Certified Lab Tech with the Soil Food Web School, she now works full-time in soil science-related fields and is working towards completion of the Consultant Training Program.
