Murat Akhuy

Murat, having started the Türkiye Permaculture Research Institute together with a few friends, focused more on the soil regeneration aspects of permaculture and attended a seminar named as “Art of Microbiology Herding” in 2016 where he was exposed to the ideas of Elaine Ingham. As the issues related to the degradation of farming soil in Türkiye grew each year due to the excessive use of synthetic inputs and tilling, he decided to take part in SFW’s CTP program and has actively been involved in giving educational seminars and providing consultancy service for growers of all sizes since then.
