About
I have a background in alternative medicine with a Masters degree. I co-run a permaculture demonstration site and market garden called PINC (Permaculture Institute of the Northern Cape). We offer short courses to the local community on topics like permaculture, soil health, composting, and self-sufficiency. My hands-on work includes making thermophilic compost following the school’s guidelines and managing a well-established vermicomposting system. As a trained Soil Food Web lab technician, I analyse soil, compost, and biological extracts for our site, community members, and local farmers.
