Justin Whittaker

Justin Whittaker is a citizen scientist, farmer, and mycophile focused on understanding the biology of boreal soils. He is the founder of Arctic Roots Analytics, a biological soil lab in Interior Alaska specializing in microscopic analysis of soil, compost, and compost extracts. Drawing on his experience managing two Interior Alaska farms, he helps farmers and gardeners better understand their soil food web and gain practical insights for building resilient, biologically active soils.
