Brenda specializes in cultivating soil microorganisms to restore degraded soils for plant growth, nutrient cycling, structure, and water holding capacity. With 8 years of lab experience, including managing her own SFW lab, Brenda excels in soil health assessment, pathogen testing, PCR, and microscopy. Credentials: BS Biology & Soil Science (Humboldt State), Certified Soil Food Web Consultant (Elaine Ingham), Permaculture Design (UMass Amherst). Brenda is a bilingual US-Brazil dual citizen dedicated to sustainability, ecological restoration, reforestation, and planetary health.
