About
I work in arboriculture within adult education and have a strong interest in soil science. I aim to share my enthusiasm for trees and the vital role soils play in their health. Arboriculture is often mistaken for tree cutting, but it is the science and practice of managing trees over their full lifespan. Soil–tree interactions govern vitality, resilience, and longevity. Trees are complex, long‑lived holobionts, not just timber, and informed arborists are essential to protect and sustain these living systems.
