Collaboration is key
The Soil Food Web Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 to carry forward the work of Dr. Elaine Ingham, the pioneering scientist who mapped the soil food web: the living community of microorganisms that drives soil fertility, plant health, and ecosystem function.
The Foundation trains students in more than 140 countries through the Soil Food Web School, is advancing research in soil biology and regenerative agriculture, and supports a global community of practitioners restoring soil on farms and ecosystems worldwide.
