Practical Microscopy Workshop for Consultant Training Program Students

October 7-9, 2019

Scio, Oregon at Harmony Jack Farm 

(45 minute drive from Corvallis, 30 minutes from Salem, and 15 minutes from Stayton)

Fee: $900 for the 3-day workshop (Reduced from $1,500)

This workshop is focused on the practical use of the shadowing microscope to assess the quality of soil, compost, extracts and tea. The workshop will be held near a commercial composting facility that specializes in worm and thermal compost. Attendees will be given a tour of this facility where extracts and teas are also made. Attendees will perform nematode extractions, protozoan infusions and site assessments including compaction testing, infiltration and sampling design.
