There are few better ways of connecting with our world than by celebrating all the facets of our relationship with food. On the last weekend in September, we hope you’ll join us in Sacramento, California (USA), to help celebrate all those facets – the ways we produce food, express ourselves through it, and connect with others around it.
If there’s one place that ought to be a center of great food, it’s Sacramento. The city sits in the middle of the state’s Central Valley, a vast mixing bowl of specialty crops enjoyed by people across the country and around the world. In recent years, Sacramento has managed to build quite a name as a foodie’s destination, and now, an event called Terra Madre Americas is aiming to build that reputation further.
The SFW School will be there to do what we do best – introducing folks to the vast microcosm of living soil, all those wonderful microbes that help us produce some of the best, most nutritional food anywhere. We’ll be alongside some of the country’s most talented farmers, chefs and vintners, sharing our knowledge and passion for learning, enjoying good music, and just having a bit of fun around some amazing food and drink.
Hope to see you there.
